Kathlene Marie Seltveit, 40, of Morton, died at 8:19 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, Wis.
Born Feb. 14, 1972, in Pekin to Keith G. and Mary Jane (Bloom) Conkling, she married Chad S. Seltveit on Sept. 30, 1995, in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Lucas Isaac Seltveit, at home; one daughter, Alexis Kimberly Seltveit, at home; her parents, Keith and Mary Jane Conkling of Hopedale; her in-laws, Steve and Karen Seltveit of Morton; two brothers, David R. (Stacy) Anderson of Green Valley and Daniel R. (Tracy) Anderson of Manito; two sisters, Joy Conkling Swanson of Pekin and Deana R. (Greg) Williams of Springfield; and her sister-in-law, Jill (David) Rizner of Downers Grove.
She was preceded in death by one niece; one cousin; and her sister-in-law.
A homemaker, she was involved in her children’s activities.
Services were Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Pekin, with the Revs. Steve Anderson and Judy Doyle officiating. Visitation was Monday at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton and Tuesday at the church. Burial was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in remembrance of her may be made to the Seltveit Children College Education Fund established at Morton Community Bank.
