Morton (12-4) finished sixth in the championship bracket after going 2-2 for the fifth time in seven State Farm tournament appearances.
Ryan again guided the Potters with 15 points, all from the 3-point arc.
Abbie Cox and Sarah Livingston collected eight points and Byrne seven.
The Lady Mustangs, who exited the tournament with a 14-2 mark, received 21 points from Bhrea Griffin.
Champaign Centennial won the tournament championship, 44-28, Dec. 29 over Richwoods.
Morton is 14-14 all-time at the State Farm Holiday Classic.
