In 138 pounds, Pleasants used a second-period pin of Limestone’s Nathan Elmore to reach the final.
Pleasants (21-7) lost to Washington’s Colton Gladwell, Illinois Matmen’s second-ranked wrestler, in the title bout.
Bakirdan upended Austin Kidd of Canton with a pin at 3:57 in the 160 quarterfinals, then pinned Washington’s Anthony DeMito at 4:37.
Tony Hall of East Peoria topped Bakirdan (16-19) for the championship.
