PEKIN — An East Peoria man will serve a four-year prison term for his role in a series of brazen home burglaries across northern Tazewell County last fall. Everett Dobbs, 19, pleaded guilty Friday to one count each of residential burglary and felony theft. He and two other men broke into a home in Washington on Oct. 8. Police also found him in possession of more than $4,000 in jewelry taken from an East Peoria home on Sept. 22. Andrew Stear, 19, of Peoria Heights was sentenced to six years in prison last month as part of the burglary ring. Brandon McCartney, 18, of Creve Coeur will appear in court Feb. 25 on a burglary charge.
