Some will argue that it’s because people in China or wherever are willing to work for $2/day. I believe this is part of it, but I strongly believe the majority of it is due to increasing the American money supply irrespective of demands and goods. Our currency is so inflated that it has lost 50% of its value over the last few years. Our currency is so inflated that if a lot Americans were not able to buy cheap Chinese goods, they would go broke! I sure know I would probably have trouble paying the bills if everything I bought had to say “Made in the USA”.

I just don’t get it. All the polls showed Ron Paul in 1st or 2nd place in Iowa. Only until this last week did Rick Santorum breach double digits in the polls despite not being able to raise any money. However, last night the people of Iowa decided that Rick Santorum’s plan to bomb Iran, even though we are broke, is a good idea by voting for him.
I'm glad to see some efforts made by ordinary Americans to "sound the alarm" about the sovereign debt crisis that plagues our state and great nation.
