EAST PEORIA — Audience members have the chance to guess who the killer is when the Illinois Central College Theatre Program presents nine performances of Bullets for Broadway beginning Nov. 10 through Nov. 19 in the studio theatre of the ICC Performing Arts Center, located on the East Peoria Campus.

There is no performance Monday, November 13.
Gangster Tony Alto & his wife Toffee are the main characters in Bullets for Broadway, a story that answers the question, “what would happen if The Sopranos met The Producers?” Toffee wants to be a Broadway star and Tony needs to “clean” some money, so he hires two producers to mount a hit musical--The Mafia Queen--starring Toffee. The only catch is that the show must be sold out opening night and get great reviews, no matter what it costs…or else! Leave it to playwright Baxter Mallystock and his writing partner Eli Blain. Audience members are invited to the party after opening night to revile as the reviews come in…along with the FBI and a few stray bullets. This show is a brand new combination of mystery, comedy and music, all which just go to prove that sometimes, when people say they are going to make a hit, they mean it!
Cast members in Bullets for Broadway and their hometowns include: Logan Dean, Princeville; Ameilia Dierks, Morton; Kylie Gates, Hanna City; Vanessa Hesh, Pekin; Traci Knott, Glasford; Noah Lane, Trivoli; Liz Lape, Roanoke; Tori Lowman, Pekin; Allison Massey, Pekin; Dylan McDonell, Washburn; and Dalton Sanders, Lafayette.
Robin Berkley directs the ICC production. The book and lyrics for Bullets for Broadway were written by David Landau with music by Killer Tracks. The show is rated G for all audiences and is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
Tickets cost $8 for the general public and $6 for students and senior citizens.
