Decorate to the “Pumpkin Splash” theme during the Ackerman Farms Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Ackerman Farms will provide each grade school student living in Morton School District 709 with a coupon to pick up a free pumpkin to decorate and enter into the contest. Home-schooled children are also encouraged to participate.
All entries will need to be dropped off in the Pumpkin Decorating tent and displayed between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 14. Judging will take place after 6 p.m. and winners will be notified by phone that night.
Winners will be announced on the entertainment stage - at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 15.
