GOREVILLE — Mark James Yarcho, 60, of Goreville passed away at 5:35 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2010, at his home.
Celebration of life services will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln.
Mark was born June 3, 1950, in Lincoln to Paul and Shirley Yarcho. He married Marilyn (Vierke) Taylor March 23, 1990. Together they shared 20 years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Yarcho; daughters and son-in-law, Jaime and Jeff Flack, Jodi Yarcho and Jackie Yarcho; grandchildren, Taylor and Sam Flack, Deacon and Charlize Ashenbremer, Vanessa Taylor and T.K. Taylor; step-sons and wives, Mike and Paula Taylor and Terry and Mandy Taylor; seven siblings, twin sister, Mary Hilscher, Mike Yarcho, Meg and Tom Winters, Matt and Betsy Yarcho, Marty and Robyn Yarcho, John and Peggy Yarcho and Tom Yarcho; and 21 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark attended Lincoln College, then joining the United States Navy to serve his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He retired as a post master from the Middletown Post Office. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 17 years.
