Mary M. (Leas) Glass, 81, of Morton, died at 2:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at her home surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer.
Born Oct. 7, 1928, in East Peoria to Richard Leas and Myrtle Cremeens, she married Robert H. Glass Nov. 10, 1946, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Linda Wilkinson (Terry Ogg) of Morton; her son Robert H. Glass Jr. (Laurie) of Chillicothe;  four granddaughters, one grandson; seven great-grandchildren; five half brothers and five half sisters.
Preceding her in death were one infant great-grandson; three half brothers and one half sister.
She was an active member of Community United Church of Christ in Morton, where she was a member of the Circle of Concern. She also was a member of the Fondulac Ladies Golf League.
Services were Aug. 22 at Community United Church of Christ in Morton. The Rev. Jeff Johnston officiated. Visitation was Aug. 21 at the church. Cremation was accorded following services.
Private interment of cremated remains for immediate family was in Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
