DELAVAN — Charles Kenneth Clark, 74, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Pekin Hospital in Pekin.
He was born Dec. 17, 1935, in Springfield, Ky., to Claude and Myrtie Lambert Clark.
Surviving are two sons, Quinton Clark of St. Louis and Dwight Clark of Houston; one brother, Calvin (Evelyn) Clark of Morton; and one sister, Mary Jo (Alvin) Oglesby of Morton.
Preceding him in death was one brother, Everett Donald Clark.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves for 10 years from 1953 to 1963. He was employed by Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 32 years. He was a member of Delavan American Legion Post 382, the VFW and the Gold Wing Road Riders Assn., Chapter P., in Lincoln.
Cremation has been accorded. Services were Monday at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, with full military honors. The family received relatives and friends later that day at a luncheon reception at Delavan American Legion Hall.
