Patrick Joseph Zuercher, 57, of 1488 W. Birchwood, died at 2:37 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at his home.
Born March 5, 1952, in Peoria to Loren and Colleen Bushell Zuercher, he married Connie Grant May 11, 1974, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents, Loren and Colleen Zuercher of Pekin; four brothers, Kevin Zuercher of Pekin, Eric Zuercher of San Francisco, Kurt (Sandy) Zuercher of Pekin and Karl (April) Zuercher of Washington; three sisters, Collette (Monty) Kuka of Ulm, Mont., Holly (Dave) Weiler of Pekin and Elise Harnois of Willowbrook.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Joseph and Amelia Zuercher and Ted and Elise Bushell, and one brother, Ian.
He graduated from Western Illinois University and attended University of Illinois Medical School.
He worked at Pekin Patterns Inc. for 26 years retiring in 2001.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Morton.
Services were Monday at his church. The Rev. Mark DeSutter officiated. Visitation was Sunday at Davis Mortuary in Tremont, with a rosary service. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pekin.
