Shirley J. Teel, 78, of Morton, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
Born April 25, 1931, in DuQuoin to Sam and Lina (Jeremiah) Jacoby, she married Clifton D. Teel in January 1952 in DuQuoin. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Vickie (Ken) Clark of Decatur; two sons, Ricky (Julie) Teel of Morton and Randy (Pat) Teel of Pekin; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Perry Jacoby of Greenfield.
Preceding her in death were one brother and four sisters.
Services were Saturday at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home in Morton. The Rev. Danny Cox officiated. Visitation preceded services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was in Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
