Mary Jeanne Nash, born September 15, 1949, died at Carle Hospital, Urbana Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010.
Born in Mattoon, she was a 1967 graduate of Mattoon High School and lived in Mattoon her entire life. She was an office worker at Mattoon Country Club, Bob Peters Ford and recently at Pilson Auto.
Her parents were Charles and Pauline Waltrip Nash. She is survived by her mother and her two sisters, Karen Culbertson of Morton and Kay Bell of Champaign. Mary leaves nieces and nephews Sue Culbertson Baez (Dennis) and their two sons John and Matthew of Palatine; Steve Culbertson (Ramona) and their children Jake Culbertson of Morton, Brett and Brandon Grant of Morton, Megan Lebeder (Bryan) of Arcola, Jennifer Bell Lester (Lee) and their son Nathan of Macon; and Carrie Bell of Champaign.
Her hobbies included collecting antiques, photography, needlework and flower gardening.
Cremation was accorded. There was no visitation or services. An open house for family and friends was Aug. 22 at the family home in Mattoon. Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Condolences may be offered at renner-wikoffchapel.com.
