TREMONT — M. Jane Fawer, 67, died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Morton Terrace in Morton.
Born Feb. 20, 1943, in Pekin to Louis and Julia A. Thaller Connell, she married Don “Pete” Fawer Sept. 4, 1965, in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Nate Fawer of St. Peters, Mo., and Jacob (Leslie) Fawer of Decatur; one daughter, Teresa (Joe) Buan of Oswego; four grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine “Jeri” (Denis) Bowsher of Fisher and Sylvia Moudy of Bloomington.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Dr. Richard Connell.
She was a homemaker.
She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Morton, where services were given Monday. The Rev. Mark DeSutter officiated. Visitation was Sunday at Davis Mortuary in Tremont with a prayer service. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Harbor Light Hospice, or Blessed Sacrament Church Building Fund.
