KERRVILLE, TEXAS — James K. Snearly, 90, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in a Kerrville care center. 
He was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Belair to Opal R. Snearly and Sylvia Farley Snearly.  He was the manager of Pekin Auto Body and was co-owner of Morton Safari Lanes.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 745th tank battalion in the European Theatre of World War II. He was a member of Calvary Temple.
He married Lenore M. Cummins Sept. 28, 1942, in St. Charles, Mo. She preceded him in death Oct. 26, 2009.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside services for Mr. Snearly were Tuesday at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, with pastor Del Way officiating.
