PEORIA — Patricia Eileen Drew, 79, of Peoria, died at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at her residence, surrounded by her entire family.
Patricia Eileen Drew spent her life serving her family and community and was always available to those in need. Married to William E. Drew Feb. 14, 1953 in Peoria, she was the mother of six and grandmother of 21. Her home and her heart were always available to many more.

She was a prestigious Marquette Honoree, awarded for outstanding service to the Catholic Diocese of Peoria. She was a room mother and leader of Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, among other lifelong volunteerism.
Patricia was also very active in the Peoria Area Irish Community. She was one of the charter members of the Saint Patrick’s Society. She was also active in the Hibernian Society. The Peoria community was a better place for her life long contributions.
