I thought it would be worth noting this week's poll: "Do you think the cost of the new firehouse is too much?"
As of Friday morning, 31 out of 33 online readers agreed that the cost of the new firehouse WAS NOT too much.
I thought this was interesting -- how often do you see taxpayers in favor of such a large and costly project when tax hikes and a slow economy seem to be the flavor of the year throughout the nation?
Based on poll results, it seems residents think the village has made a smart move that works for most residents.
