Dunlap is the area's top-ranked large-school football team coming in at No. 4 in Class 5A in the latest Associated Press rankings released Tuesday.

The Eagles (4-0) will host sixth-ranked Morton (4-0) in a battle of Mid-Illini unbeatens. The Potters moved up one spot while Washington (3-1) dropped one to No. 7 in Class 5A, although both teams won on Friday.

Peoria High (2-2) received a vote in Class 6A and Richwoods (3-1) received three in Class 5A.

Canton (2-2) fell out of the Class 4A poll after a 31-7 loss to Pekin. Canton had reached No. 4 and most recently was No. 7. The Little Giants did receive one point.

Elmwood/Brimfield (4-0) remains No. 9 in Class 3A.

Deer Creek-Mackinaw (4-0) received a first-place vote in Class 2A but remains in second, 21 points behind first-place Sterling Newman. Farmington (4-0) is ranked third in 2A, nine points behind the Chiefs.

Annawan/Wethersfield (3-1) climbed one spot up to eighth in Class 1A. Princeville (4-0) received seven votes and is the third team outside the top 10.
