Teams: Bloomington, Champaign Central, Champaign Centennial, Danville, Manual, Normal Community, Normal West, Notre Dame, Peoria High, Richwoods, Urbana.
Defending champ: Notre Dame.
Outlook: The Irish have won three straight conference titles since joining the Big 12. Last year, the Irish won all three relay events and got three individual wins. Colton Paulson is back to defend his titles in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. ND senior John Couri leads the area in the 100 butterfly, and teammate Matthew Terrian has the top area time in the 100 backstroke. Richwoods finished second in the meet last year and won two individual events. Daniel Matlock was the 200 IM winner as a sophomore for the Knights. Senior Jack Rhode and freshman Zack Dollman also could help Richwoods earn some points.

Where: Pekin Pool.
Teams: Dunlap Co-op, Washington Co-op, Metamora Co-op, Pekin Co-op.
Defending champ: Dunlap.
Outlook: The Eagles won eight of 11 swimming events last season. Dunlap’s Zach Boley won the 100 butterfly and was on the wining 200 free and 400 free relays. Junior Zach Glover was the 200 freeststyle winner after anchoring the winning 200 medley relay for the Eagles. Ben Owens was on two winning relays last year for Dunlap and could challenge in the freestyle events this season. Metamora sophomore Justin Alderson was the only individual double winner last season, claiming titles in the 200 IM and the 500 free. Pekin will be looking for good showings from seniors Adam Peterson (defending 100 free champion) and Jack Marlatt, and freshman Alex Kula. Washington had its highest finish in the meet last year, finishing second to the Eagles behind efforts from Leo Edwards and Camden Schmidt.
