Outlook: Long streaks are on the line in both races. Dunlap has won six straight girls titles, while Metamora has captured the last five boys crowns. Washington won both the boys and girls Pre-Conference meet a month ago, but not all teams were at full strength. The girls race features four teams ranked in the Top 20 by MileSplit.com, in Morton (10th), Washington (11th), Metamora (18th) and Dunlap (19th). Morton has the individual favorite in Aspen Gordon. In the boys race, Washington comes in ranked 15th and Metamora 19th. Gilbreath-Glaub will be challenged by Pekin’s Brody Blackwell and Morton’s Sam Lange for individual honors.

Outlook: The Notre Dame girls have won the last four league titles and 15 overall conference championships in a row. The Irish girls are led by Rachel Ehrhart and freshman Teagan Cover. Notre Dame senior Chris Gilbert will be looking for a top five finish in the boys race. Favorites in the boys individual race include Nick Douds of Bloomington, as well as Wetzel and Danville’s Michael Moorman. Top individuals in the girls include Kaitlin Skaet of Bloomington and Chain Scott of Urbana.
