The Potters shot 50 percent from the field and “held” East Peoria’s Corey Crotz to 20 points in a 61-37 win over the Raiders.
Morton (15-3, 6-1) won its fourth consecutive game and stayed in a deadlock with Pekin atop the league.
Right behind the co-leaders are Metamora and Washington at 5-1 and 4-2, respectively. The Redbirds and Panthers collide for the first time Tuesday.
Brett Bisping’s 25 points, on 9-of-17 shooting, were a game-high total at Allison Gymnasium.
Will Headean chipped in 13 points for the Potters and team-bests of seven rebounds and four steals.
Beau Swinford of Morton recorded eight points and five assists, and Jake Morsch handed out four helpers.
Crotz scored 78 points combined in his last two games, so the Potters did a solid job keeping him to 20 points on 7-of-19 field-goal accuracy.
