EAST PEORIA — Officers from multiple agencies arrested a man in East Peoria last week on several cocaine-related drug charges.

Officers with the Peoria area's Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group, the Illinois State Police and East Peoria police arrested Miguel E. Burgos, 34, at a home on State Street after executing a search warrant there on Dec. 21.

During the search, MEG agents seized 1.2 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of cannabis, $16,000 in cash and a 2006 Dodge Charger, according to a release from the agency.

Burgos was taken to the Tazewell County Jail and charged with one count of possession of cocaine and seven counts of delivery of cocaine.
