EAST PEORIA — As long as they vote for themselves, the two incumbent members of the Illinois Central College board of trustees seeking re-election will win.

The college's electoral board earlier this week unanimously sustained an objection by Peoria activist Anthony Walraven that Peg Pendell's candidacy petitions had insufficient signatures to qualify her for the ballot.

The decision leaves only two people on the ballot for two seats on the board — incumbent members Gale Thetford and Diane Lamb.

Each is in line for a six-year term in the April 2 election.
