CREVE COEUR - The Creve Coeur Police Department are asking for help finding a Creve Coeur man who has been missing for almost a week, according to a Monday morning news release.

James M. Andrae, 49, has been missing since May 8, when he did not show up for work. Andrae has been entered into LEADS as Missing/Endangered.

“It is believed that he is in the St. Louis, Mo., area due to his vehicle being located there, but that has not been verified,” said Creve Coeur Police Chief Dale King. “We believe that he left of his own accord, and foul play is not expected. But he left without taking any of his medication and family has been unable to make contact with him.”

According to the news release, Andrae’s 2011 maroon Jeep Wrangler with a black top was recovered in Bee Tree Park in St. Louis County, Mo., on May 9. The keys were in the vehicle.

The park where his vehicle was located is near the Mississippi and Meramec rivers, but searches of the area have been unsuccessful. Foul play is not suspected.

Police said Andrae is bi-polar and has anxiety and depression. He did not take his medication with him.

Andrae is 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 200 pounds with sandy-blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue striped polo, tan Levi’s and boots. If anyone has seen him or knows any information about his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Creve Coeur Police Department at 309-699-9511.
