A letter from Tazewell County Republicans Chairman Jim Rule made clear that the organization is seeking leadership for a wing of the organization.

The Tazewell County Republican women are "in need of an energetic person to take over the reins of the organization," read the letter.

Still in the formative stages— the group will be presented a charter by the National Federation of Republican Women on Aug. 13 — the letter states that the person chosen to spearhead the group will have the ability to guide the vision and direction for the group.
