The Tazewell County Clerk's Office announced the release of the 2020 Tazewell County Yearbook on Wednesday.
The yearly publication is free and provides contact information for elected officials from throughout the county.
"Continuing our work from last year to improve this yearbook, we have changed the layout in hopes of making this directory easier to use,” said County Clerk John Ackerman in a prepared statement. "While we strive to make sure all information contained in this directory is accurate and up-to-date, perfection is a hard standard to meet.”
Ackerman added that the yearbook is a fine example of “Team Tazewell” in action, and highlighted the assistance of Tazewell County Treasurer Mary Burress and her staff.
"County Treasurer Mary Burress once again this year provided a member of her staff with previous experience to assist in preparing this year's book,” he said. “This is just a small example of the continued cooperation and teamwork that make Tazewell County government work efficiently for the taxpayers each and every day.”
This year’s book is available online at the Tazewell County Clerk's website and free print copies are available from the Tazewell County Clerk's Office. In addition to contact informatoin on officials from throughout the county, the yearbook contains updated population figures, valuations and important dates.
Any proposed corrections to the yearbook should be submitted via email at CountyClerk@Tazewell.com
