MEDC announces 'extreme profits' seminars
The Morton Economic Development Council, in conjunction with the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship at Bradley University, announced a five-week seminar on the critical elements to running a successful business and increasing the bottom line.
Classes will be conducted from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Morton Community Bank, 721 W. Jackson St., on the following dates:

Big marketing dreams ... little bitty dollars, presented by Becky Wood
March 10
Benchmarking your company against the industry, presented by Ken Klotz
March 17
Eliminating cash flow bottlenecks, presented by Ken Klotz
March 24
Secrets of effective employee hiring, presented by Rick Galbreath
March 31
Employee performance management and creating employee handbooks, presented by Rick Galbreath
The cost for all five sessions is $250 for members of the East Peoria, Morton, Pekin or Washington chambers of commerce and MEDC investors. The cost for non-members is $280.
