Stephen A. Adams, 53, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 19, 1955, in Chicago to Dr. Carl S. and Jessie (Shaunnessy) Adams.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Dr. Carl and Bonnie Adams of Morton; two sisters, Coletta M. (Don) Tosby of Castle Rock, Colo., and Cindy A. (Shawn) Kirwan of rural Deer Creek; one brother, John J. (Lori) Adams of Deer Creek; and two stepbrothers, Benjamin J. Adams of rural Morton and William G. Adams of Fresno, Calif.
Preceding him in death was his mother.
He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peoria and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton.
Services were Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Parish Hall in Morton. Father Mark DeSutter officiated. Visitation was Saturday at the parish hall. Entombment was in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
