BLOOMINGTON — Norma L. Gresham, 76, died at 6:28 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at her daughter’s home in Bloomington.
Born Jan. 28, 1934, in Eureka to Tilman and Ethel (Holaway) Neuhauser, she married Byron Gresham Aug. 5, 1961, in Roanoke. He died Sept. 24, 2006.
Surviving are two children, Deborah K. (Phil) Ferguson of Bloomington and Denise A. (Mark) Tornberg of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Dave (Linda) Neuhauser of Morton and Darrell (Sarah) Neuhauser of Eureka; and one sister, Darlene (Leonard) Mellinger of Sterling.
She worked as a nurse for 40 years in Eureka and Bloomington, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of Eastview Christian Church in Normal and the Illinois Nurses Association.
Services were Feb. 1 at Eastview Christian Church in Normal. The Revs. Jim Smiley and Mike Baker officiated. Visitation was Jan. 31 and preceded services, both at Eastview Christian Church. Private burial was in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
