CAMDENTON, MO. — Virginia A. Williamson, 81,  formerly of Bartonville, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Mo.

Born March 9, 1928, in East Peoria to Albert and Gertrude (Henrichs) Stegmaier, she married Earl T. Williamson, Jr. Dec. 23, 1946, in Peoria. He died Sept. 25, 2008.

Also preceding her in death was one brother.  

Surviving are one son, Terry (Carolyn) Williamson of Pewaukee, Wis.; three grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Estella) Stegmaier of Peoria; and one sister, Betty Unsicker of Morton.

She worked 30 years for Games Sales in Peoria as a production manager, retiring in 1977.

She was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Camdenton. She also served as secretary-treasurer for the Grandview Heights subdivision in Camdenton. She also was a member of TOPS Club in Camdenton, where she served as an officer.

Services were Jan. 22 at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home in Morton. Visitation was Jan. 21 and Jan. 22, both at the funeral home. Burial was in Roberts Cemetery in Morton.

Memorials may be made to the New Home Baptist Church, 2895 N. State Highway 5, Camdenton, MO 65020; or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
