Nevada R. Corzine, 81, of Morton, died at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.

She was born May 14, 1932, in Perks, Ill., to Roscoe E. and Lottie (Neeley) Herren. She married Noah Barham on May 14, 1950, in Perks, Ill. She later married Ron D. Corzine on June 1, 1964, in East Peoria.

Surviving are her husband of Morton; one daughter, Deborah (Robert) Pascool of Helena, Mont.; one son, Jeffery (Janet) Barham of Karnak, Ill.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rose Mary Wortinger of Bellevue, Wash., and Hannah Collins of Marion, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Nevada owned and operated LeFemme Coiffure in Washington for 14 years, retiring in 1979. She was a volunteer at Upscale Resale shop in Morton since it opened.

She attended First Mennonite Church in Morton and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Cloverleaf Chapter 1002. She was a lifetime member of the Illinois State Rifle Association and a member of the National Rifle Association.

Services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Aaron Yoder officiating. Visitation was from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, and from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Monday, both at the funeral home.
