Things did not get better in the second half for the Potters.

Morton gave up two more goals and scored an own goal to seal their fate.

Issac Gustafson took matters into his own hands scoring another early goal in the half by way of an unassisted goal for Geneseo in the 43rd minute.

In the 72nd minute, the Potters scored an own goal, putting them in a 4-0 hole late in the game.

The Maple Leafs tacked on one more goal before time would run out thanks to a goal from Quentin Radue that was again assisted by Bravata.

Morton won the Regional Championship by defeating Mid-Illini foe Washington.

Coach Tory DeLong’s squad kicked off the postseason with a 4-1 victory over East Peoria, before defeating Washington for the Regional Championship.

The Potters will graduate eight seniors before kicking off next season.
